Brett Compton
We are excited to announce that Brett Compton has joined the TSE Brakes team as our new Technical Services Coordinator. Brett brings a diverse background that uniquely qualifies him for this role, and we are looking forward to the impact he will have on our team.
Brett, born and raised in Birmingham, began his career as a paramedic after earning his license from Jefferson State Community College. After three years in emergency services, he moved into a role as a scoreboard technician, supporting event installations across the state at universities like Alabama, Auburn, and UAB. Brett then worked as a research interviewer in UAB's Substance Abuse program, and following the completion of his B.S. of Business Information Systems, he moved into an IT support role in the same department, where he also earned an M.S. of Management Information Systems.
Beyond his professional background, Brett loves to cook, and has recently perfected his sourdough bread recipes. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Emily, an optometrist in Cullman, their two-year-old daughter, Ellie, and their two dogs, Rayne and Drogo. He’s also a devoted sports fan, especially of college and U.S. athletics.
Brett is enthusiastic about connecting with everyone at TSE and looks forward to both personal and professional growth in this new role. He will be taking over for Dylan Coawell, whose last day with us will be November 30th. Please join us in welcoming Brett to the team!
