We are thrilled to welcome Michael Gibbs as the newest member of the TSE Brakes team in the role of Controller. Michael brings over a decade of experience in the accounting industry, with a strong background in inventory management, auditing, and process improvement. His extensive experience in the financial sector will be invaluable to TSE as we continue to enhance our operations.
Michael is highly educated, holding two associate degrees from Jefferson State Community College, as well as both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from The University of Alabama, where he also earned his CPA. His professional journey includes roles at KPMG, Books-A-Million, and Progress Rail, where he developed a broad skill set in areas like internal audit, retail accounting, and corporate-level financial management. His ability to streamline processes and improve financial accuracy will play a key role in supporting TSE’s growth and efficiency.
Outside of work, Michael is always on the move, taking on various home improvement projects. This summer, he even built a 2,000-gallon pond in his backyard. As a passionate college football fan, he loves hosting gameday gatherings for family and friends during the fall.
